As a lifelong native of Hendersonville, my heart is deeply rooted in this community, especially when it comes to supporting mental health. I'm thrilled to join the Hendersonville Counseling team and bring that passion directly to our residents!

We all experience moments when stress, anxiety, and depression can challenge our ability to be present for ourselves and those around us. My goal is to create a respectful, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can truly grow and flourish, both during our sessions and long after. I'm here to work with you, crafting a personalized therapy plan and finding the right resources to help you truly grow and thrive.

I'm a graduate of both Appalachian State University, where I obtained my bachelor's degree, and Lenoir-Rhyne University, where I obtained my master's. My path to becoming a counselor was shaped by 12 years in the public school system. There, I gained extensive experience working with students on the Autism Spectrum and those with Conduct and Emotional/Behavioral disorders. I also served as a Case Manager within an inpatient detox setting, broadening my understanding of comprehensive support.

Leveraging this background in education and case management, I utilize both Cognitive-Behavioral (CBT) and Person-Centered therapy to support your well-being. I've gained hands-on experience in dynamic environments, including a Behavioral Health Crisis Center, inpatient detox and rehab centers, and private practice. These roles have provided me with extensive insight and resources crucial for supporting my clients on their unique mental health journeys.

Beyond my professional life, I'm a proud mom and a devoted rescue pet mom. When I'm not in the office, you might find me enjoying my passions like tennis, hiking, kayaking, chasing waterfalls, deep-sea fishing, or even experiencing the thrill of helicopter flights and roller coasters.
